At the time of 1996 the university became more famous and they get a high standard university, so they change the name of Augusta College to Augusta State University.The university developed like unbelievable, its status changed, its all appearance changed, many buildings are added, new departments are started, and in 2005 Augusta State University converted to a residential university. The faculties and staffs are really committed for their work and faculties are really dedicated and they give excellent education to students and the university atmosphere is really likeable.
