From June 15 to 18, 2012, the 10th China International Software and InformationService Fair (CISIS) will be held in Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning province.

Hideichi Okada, vice-minister for international affairs, Ministry of Economy, Tradeand Industry of Japan, said that, "As the only state-level software fair in China,CISIS has won high reputation among Chinese and Japanese governments andcompanies. China is the biggest offshore outsourcing destination for Japanesesoftware development companies, and with the increase of trade volume betweenJapan and Dalian, Japan hopes CISIS will play a greater role in improvingcooperation between the two countries." Over the years, the CISIS has set up anexchange platform for software outsourcing companies over the country. Itsupplies a great number of business opportunities for IT suppliers and customers.In addition, the fair has also accelerated the boom of Dalian’s service outsourcingbusinesses.
In its preparation stage, the 10th CISIS actively promoted project matching byinviting more overseas customers to participate in the event. According to theorganizing committee, companies from the United States, Japan, India, Singapore,South Korea and Canada have confirmed project matching conferences during thefair. More than 30 provinces and cities across the country will hold over 100financing projects at the fair.
