According to School Director Sue Derosier, the 1,000-hour Barber/Styling program,* offered at two of its campuses (Worcester and Fall River), has an enrollment waiting list due to its overwhelming popularity. This particular course of study prepares successful graduates to sit for the Massachusetts' Board of Barbering Apprentice Exam.
The 300-600-hour esthetics program* at Rob Roy Academy involves in-depth instruction in how to administer American therapeutic and European topical facials, as well as general skin treatments such as enzymes and peels. Graduates of this program are eligible to become professionally licensed estheticians.
If you love art and design, then Rob Roy Academy's manicuring program (comprised of 130-300 hours*) offers students necessary skills and education to become achieved nail technicians.
