Everybody knew the international regulation regarding portable fire extinguishers (Firex) which regulate the maintenance, usage, refill, storage and placement. We can find this in standards and regulations such as OSHA 1910.157, Australian standard AS 2444 ,NFPA 10 or BS 5306. However, every countries has their own rules and regulations regarding (portable) Fire extinguisher, Including Indonesia

Chapter III: Maintenance
Article 11
(1) Every fire extinguisher should be checked 2 (two) times a year:
a. examination within 6 (six) months;
b. examination within 12 (twelve) months;
(2) Defective fire extinguishing equipment tool that
found at checking, should be immediately repaired or replaced immediately with a new device
While Article 11 regulate about maintenance schedule,article 12 – 14 mention items to be checked on a firex; including but not limited to pressure,filter,solvent/solution,gas containers,safety pin,hose and nozzles
Meanwhile article 18-22 regulate how firex should be refilled, also by paying attention to timing, type of gas containers, pressure and solvent for Foam type.
Last but not least, there is a different regulation regarding the color of the fire extinguisher bottle in Indonesia. In UK, bottle color distinguished as BS EN 3 code: Signal red,Cream or French Blue
But in Indonesia, regulation suggest us to use only red as the colour of the fire extinguisher bottle. Stated in
