SNAP 2016 is conducted by Symbiosis International University to select students for their MBA programs. Here are all the details regarding the exam.

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) to shortlist students for its MBA programs. The score of the exam is accepted by all the 14 institutes under the Symbiosis International University (SIU) and many other B- schools across India.

Inorder to appear for SNAP 2016,SNAP 2016 Registration Articles candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or Institute in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks. The candidate must fill the application form and submit the application fees on time, then only a candidate will be allowed to attempt the exam. Final year students can also apply, only if they will finish their graduation before the commencement of the academic year.

There are four sections in SNAP 2016 exam. These are the General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, and the Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The total time duration of the test is 120 minutes, that is 2 hours and the total marks of the exam is 180 minutes. The first three sections carry 40 marks each while the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section carries 60 marks each. There is a negative marking of 25% marks for every incorrect answer. However, no marks is deducted for unattempted questions. Each section has 40 questions each, while the Analytical and Logical Reasoning Section has 30 questions. Where all the other exams are becoming computer based, the SNAP 2016 remains to be a pen paper based test. Candidates can attempt any section according to their choice. Also, there is no sectional time boundations and hence, candidates can spend as much time as they want to in any of the sections. Candidates can also decide the order of the sections they want to attempt.

The registrations for SNAP 2016 will begin from 22 August, 2016 onwards. The registration process ends on 22 November, 2016. The exam is scheduled to take place on 18 December, 2016. Once the registrations for the exams begins, candidates can apply online by logging on to the official site of SNAP. The admit cards will also be available online, which the candidates can download. No hard copy of the same will be available or sent to the candidates. Admit card is a mandatory document that has to be carried along by the candidate during the exam. If the candidate does not carry the admit card, he or she will not be allowed to attempt the exam. The result is expected to be released in the month of January 2017. Once the result is out, then the various institutes will be releasing their cutoffs. Based on these cutoffs, candidates will be shortlisted for the further evaluation process, which includes the Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (WAT), which will be conducted by each institute seperately.
