Lateral B Tech job program entry was also one of the AICTE master stroke programs for Diploma students who decided to pursue higher education without leaving work. This curriculum offered students a four-year engineering degree in 3 years directly to the second year of B Tech. The class timings were also acceptable for working professionals.
Therefore, after all these Distance engineering course choices, one question must seem striking to you that the value of these Distance BTech is the same as the regular BTech. Do I have a degree of that caliber in the job market?
These critical questions have to be answered. On 14 August 2020, AICTE issued a notice that clears all the gaps in the degree of importance and acknowledgment other than standard modes. AICTE publishes a Circular saying, "In other as long as classes are held and students physically attend the classes this a regular program. All the nomenclature used earlier such as (First Shift, Second Shift, Evening Shift, Weekend, part-time, weekend have been dispensed. As long as the student registers for the course as per the university curriculum it a regular program".
In short, students enrolled in the B Tech program were only awarded the engineering degree to summarize the official terms above. He would not earn any degree that states he was registered in the other than a normal program. The other program of engineering is thus similarly known as the standard program of B Tech. The degree which is accepted by AICTE and has the same meaning as the normal mode will be awarded.
