Summer has officially arrived in Echo of Soul (EOS)! Dive into the latest patch update featuring a summer event, updated raid entry counts, daily login rewards, Season 3 Magic Lamps, party member kicking system, world map transparency, bug fixes, and much more.
The summer event introduces a brand-new map with daily and repeatable quests. This map features two distinct islands: Manta Reef and Watermelon Island. Watermelon Island is accessible only when the water recedes, opening every hour for 30 minutes (e.g., open from 9:00 to 9:30, closed from 9:30 to 10:00, and so on). To travel there, speak to the Watermelon Island Entry Staff NPC.
This exotic area is home to the peaceful Pori tribe, who despise violence. As a result, you must leave your weapons in your inventory, and Smart Matching functions will be disabled during your stay. One notable tribe member, Dig Duv, can be found in the main cities: Mnemos Town, Ignea, Rimen, and Laterna. Speak to Dig Duv to visit the new islands.
Before heading to the beach, you'll need a swimsuit. You can obtain one from the Season 3 Magic Lamps or by completing Dig Duv’s quests. Completing these quests rewards you with Manta Reef Coins, which can be exchanged for various items, including the new Coconut Crab pet. Additionally, you can unlock three new achievements: "Pinch Me, I’m Dreaming!" (Misc./Pet), "Nowhere to Run" (Event), and "Duck, Dodge, Dive… D’oh" (Event).
You can explore the island on foot or use your mount. Complete quests, participate in mini-games, and interact with the Pori tribe to make your stay unforgettable. Note that all summer event-related items will be deleted once the event ends on August 19th, 23:59 GMT+2/5:59 PM EDT, except for costumes, pets, Manta Reef currency (which can be saved for next year), achievements, titles, and Prismatic Water Balloons.
Enjoy your time in Echo of Soul!
