Think twin baby shower,Noahs Ark Baby Shower Theme Articles and a Noah’s ark shower is what usually comes to mind. Think couples shower, solemn and sacred shower, colourful shower, and it still about this theme. Whew! No wonder this is one of the more popular options for baby shower throwers.

If those didn’t make you say “Let’s throw a Noah’s Ark shower!” immediately, but you’re still curious about this theme, then here are some Noah’s Ark shower ideas that will make your decision-making easier!

Invitation

Your invitation should come shaped like a boat, since it is the very thing for a Noah’s Ark baby shower. You could use rainbow-coloured papers, full of baby pictures or other baby stuff, fold it in boat-like fashion, and there you go, your first invitation! You could also replace the colourful paper with some paper that got wet and dried (we mean intentionally), so as to give it the appearance that it travelled by water to reach your guest. A blotch or two in the writing will make it more convincing, and will not be bad on your creativity rating.

A treasure chest at the end of a rainbow is another cute and very appropriate invitation idea. Of course, instead of the usual treasure, the chest will be full of baby articles ranging from diapers, to feeding bottles, and the like. Really cute, if we may say so.

Games and Activities

In a Noah’s Ark shower, all games and activities should be played in pairs or by a group where member count is divisible by two. Just by doing that, you already escalated your shower to the next Noah’s Ark level!

Now to the more serious stuff. Games and activities in your Noah shower should be about colours, water activities, and animals.

You could start by having a crayon blowing contest, wherein each of your group will have a candle and a set of crayons. The idea is to create something related to baby (or mom-to-be) and Noah’s Ark, but instead of drawing with their hand, they have to do so with their mouth, or rather with their breath, by blowing. They just need to heat the crayons on the candle, drop the crayon meltings on a paper, and blow and blow like there’s now tomorrow. Of course, they need to make sure that they are blowing in the right direction, so as to form the right shape with the right size.

If you are up to some water fun, then how about a ring toss ducky? You will need a pool of some sort wherein a lot of rubber duckies are swimming around. You might want to fan the water a bit, so as to make the duckies swim, and therefore, more difficult to “catch”. The idea is for your guests to toss a ring to “catch” a rubber ducky with said ring. You could also add Noah’s Ark animals in the picture to make it more Noah-like.

And lastly, how about a scavenger hunt? It will still follow the normal scavenger hunt rules, but this time, what needs to be scavenged are baby articles or anything about babies and mom-to-be. And since this is a Noah’s Ark hunt, it should also be colour-coded. Each group will be assigned a colour, wherein all things to be scavenged will be of that colour. That should add a different and interesting twist to your scavenger hunt!

Favor Ideas

His and hers stuff, that’s what you should give your guests, especially if you are having a couples shower! If you find that too expensive, you could just buy colour-coded gift items and just give say, red mugs to one couple, blue to the next, and stuff.

Anything related to the beach and other water fun activities are really great favors for your guests. Goggles, tanning lotion, slippers, and the like, those are absolutely good Noah’s Ark shower favors!

Think fun, colourful, and watery, and that’s what a Noah’s Ark shower is all about. It’s perfect for any shower types!
