Radio control helicopters – a hobbyist fantasy

A very clean, disciplined and engaging hobby, radio control helicopters are one of the mainstays of the hobbyist R/C industry. The sizes, the colors, functions and the number of channels used to control these helicopters are highly varied and make for a great range. They are flown by a radio transmitter that is calibrated with a control device which is hand held by the users and the inputs they make are sent to a receiver in the helicopter which controls the helicopter and then makes the necessary changes in the configuration of the helicopter. As such, the processes of controlling require a certain level of skill building and care in order to fully and smoothly understand the helicopter.

These radio control helicopters are powered in different ways and with different batteries for the control surface and the helicopter itself. Most of these radio control helicopters are run on batteries and must be either replaced or recharged as required.
