Tea - at its basic is like a primer. To this base coat is added on the other flavours which then create a palette of tastes so delicious it leaves the drinker wanting more.

Leave the tea leaves to oxidise longer, and you get robust, rich, black tea. Leave it to oxidise for lesser time, and you get green tea, which is quite bitter and an acquired taste, mostly drunk for its health benefits.

Semi-oxidise it, and you get oolong tea and depending on the process, it’s light-bodied or full-bodied.

Flowers, Fruits, and LeavesAdd lemon to green tea, and you get zesty lemon green tea which is refreshing and clean on the palate. Add jasmine blossoms and the fragrance of jasmines gets infused with the ordinary green tea to produce a sweet-smelling tea. Add peppermint leaves, and you get tea with the minty fresh taste of peppermint. The alchemy is endless!
