There are career possibilities on cruise ships, while traveling with individuals who need ongoing care during their vacations and in response to natural disasters or other events around the globe. Types of jobs: Not only nurses are needed around the United States and in some foreign countries, but x-ray technicians, ultrasound specialists, laboratory techs, physical therapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists are needed.
