Treating cyst pimples seems like a hopeless cause for many acne sufferers. Acne cysts are some of the most difficult skin diseases to get rid of, and they are particularly painful, especially when found on the back, chest, and face. There are many products claiming to treat cyst pimples, but in reality, there are only a few things that work when it comes to removing these skin offenders.

1. Cortisone shot: While cortisone shots are not a cure-all for cysts or pimples, they can certainly work on getting them down to size, channeling out impurities and taking away the swelling. 2. Chemical peel: Getting a chemical peel at the dermatology clinic is something I've needed to do on occasion to get rid of my cystic pimples. Chemical peels really don't hurt, and they're less expensive than a Cortisone shot. Plus, they cover a whole area of skin, so you get the most value for your money when you opt for a chemical peel. You can expect to start seeing results from a peel in less than 2 weeks, typically.

3. Acne diet: Going on an acne diet is sometimes the only way to get rid of a pimple cyst or cysts. Because an acne diet starts working from the inside-out, your body has a better chance of getting rid of cysts before they even surface on your skin. This way, you won't have to worry about buying so many products or undergoing expensive dermatology treatments quite as often.
