In this case, cross stitch has a healing mechanism to help overcome these horrific scenes imprinted in one's mind. For those of you who have chosen other outlets to deal with problems, picking up the needle to stitch is a lot better than picking up a needle to shoot a noxious drug into your veins which will destroy your life.
