Assassin's Creed 2 Xbox 360 is what gamers want an action sequel to be; bigger than the original and better than the original. The original Assassin's Creed taught gamers the adage that "Nothing is true; everything is permitted"; Assassin's Creed II continues the tradition. The sequel to Assassin's Creed is filled with fresh new mission types, and new features while keeping the movement and atmosphere of the original came. With a new character and a very engaging storyline gamers will be drawn in until the end of the game when they will immediately wonder when they will be able to get a third installment of Assassin's Creed. This may sound like a sales pitch but Assassin's Creed II on Xbox 360 is a really good game, and even more amazing to players who are used to bland and boring sequels Assassin's Creed 2 is also a really good sequel.
As with the original Assassins Creed II Xbox 360 players are working within 2 separate timelines. The modern day storyline featuring a bartender named Desmond Miles, and a past storyline starring an ancestor of Desmond's. Desmond will be seen often throughout the game, but players will spend most of their time with Ezio Auditore de Firenze. Ezio is a likable, charming impetuous 15th century man who is passionate about wine and women and also family and honor. Ezio initially is living a carefree life unfamiliar with the creed or the assassin's robe. Once the Templar's bring murder and betrayal into his life Ezio dons the white hood like his predecessor Altair from the original Assassin's Creed.
The personal narrative of Ezio's journey makes the story of Assassin's Creed II more compelling and provocative than the original. For while Altair was an interesting character players didn't get to know him as well as they will Ezio. The conspiracies and betrayal involved in the story line become clearer and therefore more satisfying.
The graphics and backdrops of Italy are amazing. With Florence and Venice showing more detail than the original, with authentic people who are going about their daily lives, Assassin's Creed 2 doesn't give players basic character models who are easily ignored. The beauty and realism of Assassins Creed 2 is a challenge to all other game designers to step up to the plate and try to hit one out of the park.
The controls of Assassins creed 2 allow players to lead Ezio across rooftops, to jump over alleyways and climb tall towers. The movement in this game feels more fluid than in the original and strikes the perfect middle ground between automation and response.
Ezio may be amiable and kind, but he isn't afraid to do what needs to be done and shed some blood if need be. He has several ways to achieve the bloodletting. His best deadly toy is dual hidden blades. These blades allow Ezio to not only perform a low profile assassination and high profile kills, but also double assassinations. Imagine walking through a crowd and sinking a blade into the two people on either side of you as you keep walking while they fall dead to the ground.
Assassin's Creed 2 doesn't shy away from the blood and nastiness of killing, which is why the Assassins Creed II Xbox 360 game download is rated Mature. Players who liked Assassin's Creed will love Assassin's Creed 2 for Xbox 360. This is how a sequel should be.
