I can still remember when I first had a round vintage tub and Bath installed in my own home.  It took me a long time to find the exact item that I was looking for and although I had to compromise in some way or another, I was also able to find an item which was a little more unique than what I had in mind.  Over the course of looking for a circular vintage tub, I picked up a little bit of knowledge about the items that were available out there.  You might be surprised with some of the options that you have available to you.

Restoring a round vintage tub and bath is not generally something that people are going to do on their own.  There are specialists that are out there which are able to take care of the specific tasks for you.  In some cases, such as a circular vintage tub that is cast iron, you can have it sandblasted and resurfaced and it will look brand-new, even though it will keep its vintage shape.  Other materials may take a little bit more work and a specialist touch in order to get them done properly.

One final thing that I can tell you about these bathtubs is that just because they are vintage, does not mean that they can not have some modern conveniences included.  Converting a round vintage tub and bathinto a spa or perhaps including a freestanding shower are excellent choices of having something older in your home, but making it new.
