Automated network marketing prospects- if you are a network marketer, these words could be music to you ears. But, if you or your upline is stuck in the "old school" ways of MLM, then your marketing plan probably just consists of "telling everyone you know" and by no means is it automated. This may be a good strategy for some, but for most people, it simply just turns them into one of the 97% that fail at MLM, which is a shame because the network marketing industry truly is a fantastic industry and it has so much to offer. It is not a scam and most often, you will find tremendous products within network marketing companies. The problem usually arises for people when they can't figure out how to find prospects and the idea of cold-calling is not only frightening, but it is also something that very few people can do well.
So how do we get automated network marketing prospects into your database? It all starts with something called a "Landing Page". This is a website where people go to see brief information about you or your opportunity. This is not a place for you to tell your entire story, but rather a spot where they can see a 3-4 minute video or read a paragraph or two (video usually proves to be most effective) and then they can "opt-in" if they want to learn more about you or your company. "Opt-in" simply means that they are giving you permission to contact them by providing you with their name and email address or phone number. "Well," you say to me, "I already have a website for my opportunity." Ok, that's great, but does your website simply provide your prospect with a bunch of information and no way for you really link to the reader? Then it is up to you to try and figure out how to follow up with that person and you are left sitting there and wondering exactly what you should do next, right? You are not even sure if the prospect went to the site or is interested at all. Been there, done that and guess what- that system is probably not working too well for you.
