Gibberish Allegation filed against Microsoft by Google

Google in latest business news has been alleging that “Bing”, one of Microsoft’s search engine is copying results that Google search engine provides. Well, obviously as per Microsoft's privacy policy and other disclosures computers running Bing Toolbar and IE related sites sent click patterns to Microsoft first. And then Microsoft used this data to improve its search results to present in Bing results. Calling it as a serious allegation of copying won’t be good though as it is just a case of observing user behaviour. Denied it Microsoft stated that it received user’s permission for these observations and those information collected are of user’s and not of Google’s. Not only on its own search engine but any such engine that works on windows or on IE related sites the result has been the same. Every such information is first sent to Microsoft as per the policy. Being the most favoured search engine in world, Google holds a high market share. Also, Google gets far more searches than any other search engine, which gives it an advantage. Earlier, Google itself endorsed and appreciated the use of toolbar and similar data for improving search results. But, when Microsoft is using this approach then Google has raised an allegation. Before alleging Microsoft for copying without permission they surely wouldn’t have thought their own Youtube, which alone has many critics against it.
