1. Select a rose that is in the beginning of its bloom. Never choose a rose that is already open.
2. Then, cut the fresh rose from the plant. The stem of rose must be 5-6 inch so that no problem will appears while dipping into gold.
3. Now, A layer of clear electrophoresis lacquer coating must be applied to all parts of rose including, stem, leaves, bud and many more. Keep rose in a safe place as a lacquer coating requires a whole day to dry.
4. Next day, heat the gold liquid in a large container. For the safety, put gloves, apron and goggles. These things will protect skin from damage.
5. As the gold melts, dip the rose bloom in gold. Hold the stem of the rose upwards and initially dip rose build in gold liquid. For 24K gold plated rose, dip it for more than 90 seconds because 24k gold liquid is thick in texture and require more time for an attractive coating.
6. Let it dry for at least 24 hours or more depending on the environment temperature. If a hard layer of gold is appeared on rose flower then, it means the flower is completely dried. To add more shimmer, a coating of protective wax or electrophoresis lacquer can also be applied at the end.
