It is not always right to judge a product based on the advertisement one see on last night television commercial or by the sweet odour it is offering. There are actually more to it. The containing ingredients of the aftershave should be checked as written on the body of the container. It may also be checked whether it has passed a dermatological laboratory test. A small splash on the skin may be made to check out whether it is suiting the skin type. Again, most of the aftershaves on offer, provides almost similar types of benefits such as anti bacterial benefit, anti fungal benefit, protection against skin burning sensations, protection drying of the skin, act as a sunscreen etc. So it may not be often wise to go for a heavily expensive aftershave thus making a hole in the pocket unnecessarily.
