Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the tips and incidents I write about regarding my days at the studio. Today, I am going to talk about those clients who think they know makeup and want things their own way. As I told you earlier that the rule of the game is OUR CLIENTS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT! But it’s better to trust your stylist too.
I get a chance to work with all types of faces and skins. With the passage of time I have learnt so much about every skin type and face-cut, that you can come up with a question or a problem and I have the solution. If you are going to a stylist then I would suggest that you trust him/her as it’s no fun getting a makeup or any other beauty treatment done if you do not have faith in the person who’s going to do it for your.
It’s just like going to a restaurant and trusting their recipes instead of giving them your own. I totally believe in TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH!
One thing I could never understand is that if you do not want a blue shade on your eyes then why do you wear a blue outfit? Or if you want to have a fresh pink look then why a red dress? Huh! These things irritate me like anything. And when I try to explain it to people they get offended and think that I am trying to act as if I know everything and they don’t. I assure you it’s not like that at all. Another important thing! Professional makeup is entirely different from everyday makeup. If you think you’re really good at it, even then it’s nowhere close to what we people do. Again I hope you do not think I’m being pompous, I just want to make it clear that there is a big difference between the two kinds of makeup. Thinking that because you wear kajol every day so it has to be present on your big day too, doesn’t make any sense. When you wear kajol every day it’s just the kajol and when you are getting it professionally done then there are so may things included in your makeup other them kajol that it might not fit in on that particular day. And trust me; we know better as we deal with different faces every day!.
