How to make the journey more enjoyable

Five simple tips to make your path smoother whilst you are pursuing a goal

1)      Smile,5 simple tips for making the journey more enjoyable Articles smile like you mean it. Everyday check to see you have out your smile on. Regardless of how you are feeling discipline yourself to smile and show some teeth. People don’t know that you aren’t feeling 100 % , only you do. And anyway before you know, you will have forgotten about how miserable you are feeling because you will be too concentrated on keeping your smile on.

2)      Make time for MORE relaxation. Yes, most of us don’t have enough time as it is so how can I make such a rash assumption that we should be fitting in more time for relaxation? Well think about how you spend your time for a minute? Do you squander it anywhere, do you do things that others can do, or do you do things to please people? What ever it is, I’m not going to take excuses, you can make more time for relaxation if you really are committed to making you journey more enjoyable.. And take a few years of your life at the same time. So relax, find more things that you love to, explore, experiment in this playground we call life.

3)      Go out to dinner as your future self. Go have dinner with a friend and act as if you are already living your goal. Talk only how you would talk as if it is already in fruition. Speak only positives, feel the feelings you would feel as though you’ve accomplished it Be that person you see yourself being after the goal has been completed just for the night at dinner with your friend.

4)      Have faith, have unwavering faith that you will accomplish your goal. Because you will. Believe you will, and don’t worry about it. The more you worry about you reaching your goal the harder you are pushing it away from you. Have faith in yourself. Can you remember a past event you had faith in and conquered through in face of adversity, what did you feel? How did you live? How can you take these feelings and images and use them now?

5)      Give, give your very all. I completed a short actors course some time ago. And one thing I learnt and I have incorporated it into my life ever since is the fact that we should be living our life putting all our mind into our goal, all our heart into our goal, all our body into our goal… and lucky last – and the most important is we should be putting all of our grunt into it. Yes, we should be thrusting ourselves forward with our grunt because that is what will take us over the line to our goal.

I believe if you follow the above five tips your journey will be a lot more enjoyable. What one principle can you use today?

To your inner greatness and your outward success,
