Sexual expression is a source of incredible feelings of human power. The power of sex arises out of feelings of aliveness and pleasure beyond any other human experience,Sex is Powerful Articles our ability to create life as well as deepen the bond of a relationship.

We have all felt the hypnotic positive power of sexual energy drawing us toward someone that we find attractive, charming, loving or interesting. We have felt the feelings of joyous pleasure of sexually bonding with someone that can last long after it takes place; for hours or even days. We may have even experienced the ecstasy of limitless spiritual bliss through passionate sexual intimacy to improve sex over all.

Our deeper unconscious desire behind sex is that we crave our soul. Some part of us realizes that sexual intimacy is a divine act which is ultimate empowerment. If we let it, sex can connect us to the deepest parts of our body, heart, and spirit as well as our partners.

Ego Based Sex
When we aren't fully connecting heart and soul with our sexuality we fall into the trappings of sexual ego. Sex then becomes drug like, and addictive. Sexual prowess can make a person feel a huge ego boost every time they interact sexually. The more partners the sexual prowess personality has sex with the greater the ego boost. For some, finding that others desire them sexually even if they don't interact with them can bring a deep feeling of confidence and control.

Like other forms of external power such as money, position, and love, sexual interaction can make us feel super human, and physically and mentally high. When sex is expressed as an ego based power, sex can be abused.

From religious repression, to war to the casting couch, sex has been misused as a tool to have power over, as well as control and manipulate others. It has been used as a bargaining tool to move up the ladder or keep a career position. Sex has been exchanged for survival, financial security, and emotional satisfaction. A true misuse of sexual power has been to sexually abuse children as well as not properly sexually educating them resulting in unwanted pregnancies, and sexually transmitted diseases.

There is a great price to pay for ego based sexuality. Someone who abuses their sexual power hurts themselves and others. Because there might not seem to be an immediate effect from abusing sexual power one may not relate the consequences to the act. However mismanagement of sex can destroy a person like drugs. A chronic need for a momentary sexual ego boost and physical gratification can end up literally sucking the life force out of an individual. Disempowerment, lower self esteem and a feeling of impotence can result.

Religion and Sex
Religious authorities realized centuries ago the power of sex and its hold over our human psyche and spirit. Religions have taught people to control, and refrain from their sexuality instead of understand and accept it. Perhaps this heavy handedness with sex was in fear that individuals on their own would misuse it.

Traditionally, to seek God one would have to control the body, and suppress pleasure. However we have seen most recently how this can also create horrific evils such as the many priests who have been exposed for molesting children.

Sacred Sex
Some of the ancient cultures of the world such as Egypt, China and India understood sex as an incredible source of powerful energy. Like any power they realized that sex is neutral, however one manages it would determine its positive or negative outcome. They realized that if used sacredly, sex could connect us with our spirit, create emotional and physical well-being, and passionate loving relationships.

Free of judgment ancient peoples developed their own maps for cultivating the sexual essence to benefit the individual, deepen love between partners and strengthening the nucleus of the family.

This sex advice communicates that when sexuality is managed in a balanced way it can lead to love, and spirit. Powerful sex is experienced heartfully and spiritually and is mutually beneficial. It is not arrogant or controlling, it is positive and emotionally fulfilling.
