With full swing recession and demand for new putters, the Adams A7 Select Putter from Adams Golf is a true masterpiece. It is an outright winner when looked upon from the ratio of strict performance to dollar spent. With a price tag of $70, the A7 outperforms the putters which are double in price as well as the flatsticks of same price range!

A7 has the old tricks of Adams back in it. The A7 is loaded with top class technology. The micro-milling on face and urethane insert are the two top class technologies used. The club is extremely well balanced which is required for simple distance judgment and precise putting line. The Adams A7 Select Putters have heads of stainless steel and yet they weigh 305-355 gm. The feel is amazingly smooth and in spite of the fact that they are cast heads,Adams A7 Select Putter Articles the 304 Stainless is a forgiving and very smooth stainless.

The A7 has a classic design and this putter will simply get converted into a vintage putter of 1930s if a punch dot face replaces the urethane insert and hickory hewn replaces the steel shaft. The A7s are mislabeled often as mid-mallets because of the upgraded offset ¾ shaft. This putter is a blade which is heel-shafted. When the little attachment was appended to the rear, it was known as “A Flange”. The flange putters were some what same as these Adams A7 Select Putters because of the single piece construction of the heads.

A7 is inspired by Wilson 8813 and 8802 putters. Wilson series was successfully wielded by Ben Crenshaw and Arnold Palmer and it is because of this reason that A7s are now spreading in the market at a fast pace. The Cleveland Bronze Series or the 8882 series by Wilson Staff are also hitting the market for the same Traditionalist Rage but, A7s outperform them because of the performance. The other putters in the market do have extreme accuracy but, they lack forgiveness. Adams is yet to produce one which is not forgiving.

The A7s are light compared to the other putters in market and with 305 gm they are lightest in the whole of Adams series. The offset ¾ shaft of A7 allows easy squaring of face during impact irrespective of the stroking technique or arc or pendulum. The available lengths of Adams A7 Select Putters are 33”, 34” and 35”. Classy technology application and a price tag of $70 surely makes the A7s a must have for some serious golfers!
