Ground Kick
The basic kick of soccer is known as ground kick. The ball should be hit by the area of your foot where you tie the laces. The toes should be pointing the ground. Your target should be the middle of the ball. Allow the whole body to apply force and for that your body should relax.
Push Kick
The push kick is used to pass the ball to the teammate with great accuracy because we use the kick when the teammate is far from our location. This kick is used most of the time, during the game.
Instep Kick
This type of kick depends on the instep of your foot. You have to kick the ball using inside your foot where you tie your shoe lace. The supporting foot and the knee should bend a little over the ball when you are going to kick. All levels of players use instep kick to smash the ball with great force. Children are also trained for this type of kick.
Over Head Kick / Bicycle Kick
It is a difficult kick because you have to perform the kick in air. While getting the training of this type of kick you may suffer from serious injuries so trainers always train, first without ball. To perform the kick you have to do a paddling movement and kick the ball. This is advanced level of training when you learn athletic moves too.
Volley Kick
The strategy of volley kick and the instep kick is similar, but this kick is used when the ball is not at ground level. A good kick depends on your distance from the ball, your balancing skills and the timings. If the ball is extending far from you, you must avoid volley kick otherwise you may face an injury.
Outside Curve
In this case your supporting foot should be on the right side of the ball if you are going to kick the ball by left foot and vice versa. Your supporting foot should be pointing at the target or in curve angle. This kick can also deceive your rival.
Banana Kick
This shot curves like a banana in air therefore it is named as banana kick. To do this kick you must use the inside or outside, of your feet. The curve helps you move the ball towards the goal or away from the goal.
