Exercising is a must because one will never be able to burn enough calories if they do not exercise. A nice rule of thumb is 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat. What I did was worked out everyday for at least 60 minutes. I started off walking for the first couple of weeks. Then I slowly started to jogging and swimming which is a really good way to burn a whole lot of calories. After the first couple of months of walking, jogging, and swimming I started doing some weight training. Nothing real serious just something to help me turn some of my fat into muscle. Doing these things 4 or 5 days a week you will slowly start seeing results and you will also feel better than you have in a long time. It's a lot of hard work, but well worth it.
