The last step is the closing of the project. This is the time when the project must be fully completed and the final results must be delivered to the customer. Final closure processes are done during this stage. The client must be asked to provide a feedback regarding the quality of the project, and compare it to the initial plan. The documentation and the operating manuals must also be sent to the client.
When a project manager takes all the chances into following the above steps when starting a project, he will surely have the best chances to be provided with the best feedback from the client, at the end of the project. Also, by following the above steps, there will be less chances of facing difficulties regarding the completion of the project, client misunderstandings, budget and resource flaws, and so on.
The final thing for a project manager to do after he or she successfully completed a project is to add it to their portfolio.
