SIM Free Samsung Wave Released, New Samsung S8500 Wave Gets Unlocked
A SIM Free edition of the new Samsung Wave has now been launched, unlocked to all networks the Samsung S8500 Wave SIM Free phone can be used either on contract or pay as you go.
The latest Samsung Wave features a multitude of new features and software all of which are not just new to Samsung's own phones but also to the mobile phones market in general. The S8500 Wave is the first phone to feature the new Super AMOLED technology which trumps the previous standard AMOLED screens brightness by a considerable 20% making usage of this latest Samsung phone outdoors and in strong light a far easier affair. The manufacturer has called this new touch screen technology SAMOLED and aside from its extra brightness it also offers crisper and clearer imaging especially for video clips recorded with the 5.0 mega pixel camera as there is support for 720p HD for extra clarity and sharpness. The Samsung Wave is also the first phone from the manufacturer to feature both the new TouchWiz 3.0 user interface and the latest Bada operating system,
these combines forces allow for multiple home screen personalisation with shortcuts to the users favourite places and widgets for keeping them informed of things like news, social network friends activities and weather updates. The 5.0 mega pixel camera include features such as blink, smile and face detection making quality photography that bit easier as well as an LED flash and autofocus. The HD quality recorded video clips can be instantly uploaded to site like Youtube with onboard support for further social networking sites also available. The main touch screen of the Samsung Wave measures a good 3.3 inches, however this is a very slim device at just 11mm deep, powering this amazing new screen technology is an industry leading 1GHz processor which is also found in the HTC Desire's 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, however with a smaller screen to power the new S8500 Wave makes for a fast and effective user experience.Getting pretty close in terms of specifications is the Sony Ericsson Vivaz which also offers 720p HD video recording but using its larger 8.1 mega pixel camera lens, however the Vivaz as well as the HTC Desire cannot get close to the Samsung Wave's new screen technology. This latest Bada powered phone has now been launched as an unlocked and SIM free handset, this follows releases on both Vodafone and T-Mobile pay monthly contract deals. The SIM Free Samsung S8500 Wave is unlocked to all network operators which means that the consumer can not only choose their preffered network operator but also whether they use the contract or pay as you go service. There are further network launches planned for the new Samsung Wave over the coming weeks with both Orange and O2 network confirming that they will be stocking this advanced new handset.
