What is IIT JAM Examination?

IIT JAM (Indian Institute of Technology -Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) is the national level exam for the students who are looking to do a Master's degree in Science from reputed institutes of India like IIT’s, NIT’s, CFTI, s and even IISC Bangalore.

IIT JAM is conducted online for all Test Papers as the Computer-based Test (CBT). All of the papers of JAM will be of Objective Type with three different patterns of question which are described as below:

1. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) - Each question with 4 choices out of which only one is correct.
2. Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) - Each question with 4 choices out of which more than one can be correct.
3. Numerical Answer Type (NAT) – In this type of question you have to type answer manually with the help of a virtual keyboard.
