There is a lot of Chinese history for kids to learn about. When kids are learning about Chinese history, they will be able to go to the places where it happened. When kids are able to go to the places where things happened, namely regarding Chinese history, they will be able to grasp the concepts better. They will be able to picture what happened a little bit better, almost as if they were there.
One place that kids will be able to go to is the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall is a major part of Chinese history for kids to know about. It played a big role during the Qin Dynasty, the Han Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty, the Jin Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall was first created between different states during the Qin Dynasty. Then, throughout the years, it was used for different reasons. Now, the Great Wall is one of the major tourist attractions from Chinese history.
Another place that is part of Chinese history for kids to learn about is the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is located in Beijing. It is a grand palace where twenty- four emperors once lived. It will probably take weeks to go around the entire Forbidden City, and to look at each and every room. With the Forbidden City being as large as it is within the Chinese history for kids, they will be able to visit many of the rooms at one visit. Then during the next visit, somebody can “quiz” them about their previous visit. They will be able to do this until they have visited every room there is to see.
There is an amazing place regarding Chinese history for kids to go learn about - the Museum of Emperor Qin Shihuang’s Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. This museum is full of great Chinese history for kids to learn about because all of the Chinese history within those walls dates back to about 210 B.C. Within the museum, there are tens of hundreds ceramic people, or warriors, that Qin Shihuang ordered to be built to guard him during his afterlife.
There are many places that Chinese teachers can take their students to in order to teach them about Chinese history. It is one thing to read about it from a textbook than students going and seeing it in person. There is also a difference reading about it verses getting a better picture of what happened in that period. With being able to go and see it, the kids will be able to understand a lot more.
