Different symptoms of bone marrow cancer

Bone marrow is the spongy and soft tissue that is found in the center of most of the bones. They are also known as the stem cells. Then these develop into red blood cells and white blood platelets. When there is cancer or malignancy in the blood forming cells, it results into bone marrow cancer. Most commonly, the occurrence is found in the shafts of long bones. 1. There is pain in one or the other bone. This is a very common symptom of bone marrow cancer. The pain will sometimes come in waves and will intensify during the night time.
2. A person may also experience tenderness, stiffness and swelling near the joint

4. Poor appetite
5. Dizziness
6. General weakness
7. Shortness of breath.

Depending on the origination of cancer, the classification of bone cancer can be done into primary bone cancer and secondary bone cancer. In many cases, the disease is secondary and will reach the bone marrow as part of the metastasis process. This is a technical name given to the cancer which spreads from other locations such as breast, prostate or lungs. By this stage, the bone marrow cancers become very apparent. If the disease has crossed the stage of being cured, it can only be treated. If the disease is detected early and is primary, it can be addressed better. One must have a proper knowledge of these symptoms at the right time.

Multiple Myeloma Bone Marrow Cancer Symptoms:

All four components of the blood namely the white blood cells, red blood cells, plasma and platelets are produced by the bone marrow. This multiple myeloma happens when the production of plasma cells is abnormal. Usually, antibodies are produced by these cells. If these cancerous cells are produced in excess, impairment of immune system is caused. The symptoms of multiple myeloma bone cancer include:
1. Anemia
2. Intense pain in the skull
3. Bleeding gums
4. Fatigue
5. Nosebleeds
6. Easy bruising
7. Unexplained fractures
8. Kidney failure.
9. Persistent infections
10. Weight loss.
