How to build links, and know where too look when submitting links.

If you are a web master or an e-commerce website owner,What to look for when your building links to a website. Articles you certainly realize the importance of building links to your website. What you might not realize is the effect of how you build these links. If you don’t build them correctly, all of your efforts will go to waste.

As someone with a great deal of experience in this area, I hope to shed a little light on how you can create better links that will make your website a greater success.

1.Know where to go to spread the word. The first step I always take when building links is to do directory submissions, high quality directory submissions, and article submissions. Be aware that this process can sometimes cause a link-bait effect (if the users fine it interresting), particularly with article submissions.

2.Give the viewer a clear look at your site. When doing article submissions, you always need to keep in mind how it looks to the viewer. In other words, your article should give the viewer a good idea of what your site has to offer. If they find it to be very pro efficient, or simply think your site looks interesting, they just might add a link to your site and share your site with their friends.

3.Don’t forget the keywords. When submitting your articles, you need to always be sure to put keywords in the title. In most cases, your title is what will show up within the search engine. If your title is catchy enough and contains relevant words, the person that stumbles upon your site through the search engine just might decide to take a look at your site. Be certain to put more than just one keyword in your title, but mix them up so the title still sounds interesting.

4.Put the keyword in the anchor. When writing with article directories in mind, you also need to be sure to place the keyword inside the anchor text. The reason for this is quite simple – the search engine robots/spiders that “crawl” through your web site in order to determine its ranking place the most emphasis on the anchor text. This is judged, in part, by the number of inbound links you have. If done correctly, this can significantly boost your search engine ranking.
