Of all the five senses, the sense of smell is probably the most underrated. Not only is it obviously necessary to identify odors, which cue the brain as to what substances or organisms may by around, but it is also dictates your ability to taste food. There is even an assortment of human chemicals called pheromones that studies suggest increases your ability to attract people you because of the way they affect your aroma. In fact, some studies even show that men can attract beautiful woman with the right pheromones.

By definition, human pheromones are chemicals found in animals and humans that are secreted through the skin which triggers a social response in members of the same species. They are capable of acting outside the body in a way that influences the individual whom receives it, whether they are aware of it or not. The most publicized studies are those on insects, but other vertebrates (like humans) as well as plants seem to operate on their influence as well. There are actually over ten different kinds of pheromones, but the sex or love pheromone are the ones you should be most concerned about if you are trying to attract beautiful woman with the right pheromones.

There are several different kinds of pheromones in animals:
•    Aggregation: function in defense against predators
•    Alarm: can warn members of the same species of danger
•    Epideictic: similar to territorial, but used more for temporary means
•    Releaser: intended to incite drastic change in the recipient
•    Signal: causes short term changes in behavior
•    Primer: alter developmental events
•    Territorial: marks HOME territory
•    Trail: common to social insects so they can find each other
•    Information: used to indicate identity and territory
•    Sex: indicate which females are available for breeding.

In humans, the sex pheromones are the chemicals that are typically regarded as the love pheromone. Now, this does not mean that the human body contains chemicals that make you fall in love, but studies do suggest that boosting these chemicals can improve your ability to attract a mate. Furthermore, studies actually show that the proper scent, when worn by a man, can boost his mate’s fertility, regulate her menstrual cycle, increase frequency of physical touch, and even reduce the symptoms of menopause.

Unfortunately, because of hygiene requirements and preferences in today’s world, many of these chemicals are washed away before they can reach their intended target. The natural scent provided by human pheromones is now hidden by the wrong kinds of artificial perfuming in hand and body soaps, laundry detergents, and other cleaners. This is one of the fundamental components of perfume and cologne, which attempts to not only restore some of these natural odors, but also enhance them in a way that attracts members of the opposite sex.
