For the next few string of articles in the series,Social Communication - All About Lies - Detecting Lies - Introduction Articles "All about Lies", I will be focusing on the aspect of the detection of lies. Once you have understood the subtle clues on the giveaways of lies, the inner workings of the detection will come into play.
How do you exactly detect lies? The theory I am about to describe is based on the 13 part article which I have on the signs of lies. By understand why and how liars actually react and keep in their own particular frame of mind, we being the listener will be able to utilize certain skills, techniques and scripts to test the liar.
The actions and steps are used in accordance to test the liar in various forms of signs that he or she may giving out, such as the sign of nervousness, trembling of hands and body, avoidance of eye contact or even the bombardment of facts to get an answer from you.
We will go in-depth into the physical and verbal aspect of the point of view of the listener when being approached by a liar.
We will look into the techniques on how to utilize them to detect and find out the truth. The techniques utilized will more or less guarantee that you will know if the person is either lying or telling you the cold hard truth.
The next few articles will be broken up into different sections and canned scripts which you can utilize in your communication groups.
There are 3 main Actions that one must take in order to find out the truth about the story. They are as described as follows:
1. Testing a person's guilt and vulnerability. It is also used to gauge his or her comfort level over the said story and the current frame of time.
2. These will be scripted contexts which you can use in sequence.
3. Sticking points. These will be the sticking points which you must definitely keep in mind during your conversations as it flows along.
By going through all the 3 different steps as mentioned above, which I will go into detail over the next few string of articles, the success of getting the truth will be virtually be guaranteed.
