Rivera obtained his 600th save during the second of three games between Seattle and New York at Safeco Field, which ended in a 3-2 victory for the Yankees, whom will go for a sweep in the last game of this series against the Mariners tonight, and this is certainly the perfect chance for Rivera to match Hoffman and then have the opportunity of achieving his 602 and become the best closer in the history of the league.

Vick returns to Atlanta as rival
The Falcons are 0-1 and are meeting the Eagles on week 2 of the current NFL season. Philly are 1-0 and are featuring Michael Vick as their starting quarterback this year, which means that it is the second time Vick returns as an opponent to the team that made him a star. The year was 2009 when Vick scored a touchdown and threw a pass for another one, which is nothing short of impressive for a player that was returning from a time in his life filled with turmoil. But now the story is different, as he is returning as a celebrated quarterback that signed a multimillion dollar contract and that is back on track concerning his performance, so, a lot more is expected of the quarterback who was given a second chance, and who knew how to turn it into a positive experience.
