Weight is an issue that both men and women have been suffering from for ages. If you're like me, you tried diet after diet hoping to finally find one that is both manageable, and actually works when you follow it. In my years of searching I've figured a couple things out that I would like to share with you. Hopefully I can change your views.
You want some numbers? How about this... Did you know that more than 3.8 million American citizens (just like you and me) weigh more than 300 lbs? Not just that, but about 400 thousand of those people weigh more than 400 lbs. These numbers made me read it again. So...
3.8 million. That's 3,800,000 Americans weigh more than 300 lbs... And 400 thousand, that's 400,000 people weigh more than 400 lbs. Yeah... Wow...
Looks aren't the only thing that weight affects, however. Weight problems are more than just weight problems. They can end up leading to things like heart disease, cancer, and strokes.
And those are definitely worse than self image issues.
This isn't just a big article full of facts, don't worry. This is intended to be helpful. Let's get into the actual helpful part.
1: Drink water. Drink lots of water. Then drink more. And THEN drink even more.
Yep. Water is THAT great. It comes with absolutely nothing fattening, but everything your body wants from a liquid.
The only thing more that you could ask for is for it to have some flavor. Caffeine is basically an addictive drug. Once you're used to water, you'll find you like the taste and no longer crave pop when you see it in machines or the fridge.
Therefor, my first tip is simply drink lots of water. You'll start feeling the effects of this very quickly. Your body will love you for it.
Just remember that while you feel bloated from the water, that feeling of being "stuffed" is you being full of health. It will only make you feel good, and not at all bad in the morning.
2: Start eating more meals per day. Your metabolism is a lot stronger than you think. Learn to utilize it to it's full potential.
Most people assume that just eating 2-3 bigger meals is the way to go. It lets you starve yourself a bit if you make sure you wait long enough to eat again. Sure, you starve yourself, but does that mean you're losing weight?
Apparently not since a lot of people try it unsuccessfully. That method is basically just firing your metabolism. Your body isn't ever sure if it's going to get fed again for a long time, so it will save all of the calories to make sure you're safe and won't go hungry.
By eating the same amount of food over more meals, say 5-6 per day, your body will start realize it doesn't have to worry about starving, so it's free to burn all the food you eat as soon as you eat it.
Learn to utilize your metabolism and you'll be much better off.
That is about all I have here for you. Did you know most people end up failing before they start? So start now! Drop your fat immediately!
I want you to be one of the people that succeed. If you want to be one of those people, too, head over tohttp://www.dropthefatnow.info
