As one of the five pillars of success and fulfillment, Daily Meditation with Visualization is an important daily step toward achieving your goals and finding more contentment in life. Learn to connect with your soul, believe in yourself, reach your senses, celebrate abundance, and experience true gratitude. Combine your Daily Visualization/Meditation with Personal Development, Income Producing Activity, Masterminding with Leaders, and Expectation of Leadership to see what you truly are capable of.
In my most recent article, I spoke of the five pillars of success and fulfillment that, if worked on every day will lead you along the path toward your desires and ultimately bring you to achieving success in your goals and more happiness in life. The five pillars are Daily Meditation with Visualization, Personal Development, Income Producing Activity, Masterminding with Leaders, and Expectation of Leadership. Today, I’d like to focus on daily visualization and Meditation.
Every day you must, as Patrick Combs puts it, ‘take a date with your soul’. Dig deep inside yourself and connect with your innermost desires. If you pray or do some other form of ‘spiritual connecting’ this is a good time to focus on your goals and the things you deeply desire. One of my deepest desires is to be a better mother. If I remember to spend some time communing with God (or the Universe, or our source of life, or whatever you want to call it) in the morning and specifically address that particular issue, than I guarantee you I will be a better mother that day and my children and I will enjoy each other much more than if I jump up and begin the day without. You may not believe in God, but you must believe in something. Focus on that something and your soul in relation to it.
You must believe in yourself! In order for your goals to be attainable, you must believe that they are. If you need to, adjust your goals so that your subconscious will be working toward them instead of saying, ‘that can’t be’. Begin treating yourself as a person that is truly capable! Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be, and he will become what he should be.” If you need to work on believing in yourself, set small, attainable goals and as you achieve them, set larger ones. Always acknowledge every success you see in yourself and you will soon see yourself in the light of what you want to be rather than what you are afraid you might not be.
In order to effectively visualize, you must reach your senses. Seek out pictures, music, and any other media that will constantly remind you of and motivate you toward your goals. As you are visualizing and meditating on your goals, you need to feel powerful, positive emotions. Suffuse yourself with gratitude as you visualize that which you desire. Acknowledge that you live a life of abundance even if you don’t have a lot of money, even if you have a lot of worries. We have an abundance of air to breathe, the earth is full of an abundance of beauty, there is an abundance of sunlight, and there is an abundance of love in our relationships (both family relationships and romantic relationships). Celebrate the abundance in your life. As you focus on that which you have instead of that which you don’t, you will continually be amazed and experience more and more gratitude, which will in turn bring more abundance into your life.
As you are visualizing and meditating you must see through your own eyes, experience it first hand through your own senses and emotions. Feel the joy, feel the abundance, feel the gratitude as if you are actually experiencing the success of your goals right now. By doing this, you are programming your subconscious mind to seek out that success.
As you meditate and visualize daily, along with the other pillars of fulfillment and success (personal development, income producing activity, masterminding with leaders, and expectation of leadership) you will find that the work toward your goals as well as your personal fulfillment in life won’t feel like work at all. It will come more and more naturally. And before you know it, you will find that you truly have abundance around you as well as contentment and success.
