GATE or The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an All-India Examination that is conducted by 6 Indian Institutes of Technology, as well as, Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.

The exam for GATE is conducted for 3 hours and comes with total 65 questions, where in, 30 questions are of 1 mark and remaining 35 are of 2 marks. Furthermore, the 2 mark questions are consist of 2 pairs of common data questions and further 2 pairs of linked answer questions.
