Midvale Utah became a city in 1909.  Population has reached 27,784 and the median income has climbed to $46,748.  There are close to 10,729 homes in Midvale and just over 50% of the population rents. 

Precipitation averages around 45 inches of snow and 14 inches of rain each year.  The high in July averages 92 degrees and the low in January averages 19.  Midvale just celebrated 100 years with their annual Harvest Days gathering.  A few of the favorite activities include: concerts,Settling Down in Midvale Utah Articles bingo night, craft booths, a 5K run, and fireworks.  Surrounding cities include: Murray, Sandy, Cottonwood West, White City, Little Cottonwood Creek Valley, Cottonwood Heights, Taylorsville and Millcreek.

Midvale Real Estate sold took a hit during the second quarter of 2009.  Much like other Utah Real Estate, sold price also decreased and there is over one year of inventory.  The buyer’s market continues.
